Amanda Pillar is a speculative fiction author who lives in Victoria, Australia, with her only child, a Burmese cat. She developed her love for books when she was 12 years old; and when she was 13, started writing her first — and absolutely terrible — novel.
Many years later, she has had numerous short stories published and is the co-editor of the fiction anthologies, Voices (2008), Grants Pass (2009) and The Phantom Queen Awakes (2010), published by Morrigan Books. Amanda is currently working on Scenes from the Second Storey, an anthology due to be published September, 2010.
In her free time, she plans on becoming the next Indiana Jones.
