Anthony Ferguson
I am a graduate of the creative arts faculties of Curtin University and the University of WA. My interest in the horror genre derives from a childhood fascination with programmes like the Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits and the Evil Touch, a morbid fascination with grisly horror comics and numerous conversations with an entity living inside my bedroom wall named 'Mr Ghost'.
I have published a number of short stories in zines such as Suspect Thoughts, Camp Horror, Lost Souls and Ripples, but have recently turned my attention to non-fiction work.
My first n/f book, "The Sex Doll:a History", is set for publication in 2010 by McFarland Publishers. I am currently taking submissions for an anthology of doll, dummy and doppelganger related horror/sci-fi tales, "Devil Dolls and Duplicates in Australian Horror Fiction", due to be published by Equilibrium Press in late 2010.
