Brett McBean
Melbourne-based horror writer Brett McBean is the author of the novels The Last Motel and The Mother (which was nominated for the Aurealis, Ditmar and Ned Kelly awards for best novel, 2006), and the novellas The Familiar Stranger, Sins of the Father (from 'New Dark Voices 2'), and Concrete Jungle (the first in the 'Jungle' trilogy). Recently he announced a multi-volume crime/horror series from Evileye Books, The Garbage Man.
His stories have appeared in anthologies such as Asylum Vol. 3: The Quiet Ward; The Rising: Necrophobia; In Delirium II; Festive Fear; and the upcoming In Laymon's Terms, and in magazines such as Dark Discoveries.
Brett also has a degree in music and has been playing the drums for almost twenty years.
