Isobel Blackthorn

I came to writing horror in my 50s. I never thought I had it in me, but I soon discovered a side to myself that loves the genre. I'm so easily spooked I can't watch horror movies though. I write psychological horror, and I especially like creating warped, twisted characters and putting them in Gothic settings. My first horror novel, The Cabin Sessions, will be released by Fear Front Publishing in early 2017.

My other writing has appeared in Backhand Stories, The Mused, On Line Opinion, Paranoia, and Fictive Dream. Other works include the novels, Asylum, The Drago Tree, and A Perfect Square, and the short story collection, All Because of You.

A Londoner originally, I currently live near Melbourne, Australia.
