Mark Smith-Briggs is a multi-ditmar nominated writer of horror and dark fiction from Melbourne, Australia. He is also an editor at Horrorscope and has been a judge of the 2007 and 2008 Australian Shadows Awards.
He was a judge in the 2009 Night of Horror's screenwriting competition.
His horror fiction has appeared in more than a dozen publications in Australia, the US and Canada. His short story Breakdown was voted Best Classic Horror in the 2006 Demonmind awards.
He has been shortlisted for a Best Fan Writer - Ditmar Award twice (2007 and 2009) for his review work with Horrorscope, and has most recently been shortlisted for the Best Fan Writer in the innaugural Chronos Awards.
