Lyn Battersby
Like so many other Australian authors, Lyn Battersby had her first publishing success with Antipodean SF. Her story, Divininities, appeared in 2001 (under the name Lyn Triffitt). Other stories and publications include (in no particular order except as they come to her):

The Memory of Breathing was nominated for several awards including The Ditmar and The Aurealis and won The Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation Best Professional Short Work Award.
As well as being a published writer, Lyn has also given time to editing, being involved with both ASIM and TiconderogaOnline magazines. She won the Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation Best Achievement Award in 2005 for Issue 11 of ASIM (the horror issue).
Lyn loves the genre and feels proud to be an active participant within the Australian scene. She graduated from Clarion South Writer's School in 2007 where she got to meet several of the most talented up-and-coming authors Australia has to offer, including Jason Fischer and Peter M Ball.
Her other great loves are her husband (talented author) Lee Battersby and their five amazing children.
